Cancellation Policy

Our vehicles are booked through Turo, so cancellations follow Turo's policy.

All SafeWheels Rentals SWFL vehicles are reserved exclusively through Turo. Your cancellation and any refund are governed by Turo's Cancellation Policy. The summary below reflects Turo's current policy, but Turo's official policy always controls.

Free cancellation

Cancel up to 24 hours before your trip start time for a full refund.

Last-minute bookings

If you book within 28 hours of the trip start, you can cancel free of charge up to 4 hours after booking — or until the trip starts, whichever comes first.

Cancellations after the free window

If you cancel outside the free window, Turo charges a cancellation fee:

Always refunded

Extras, the Young Driver fee, protection-plan costs, and delivery fees are fully refunded on any guest cancellation.

How to cancel or modify

Open the trip under Trips in the Turo app or website and select cancel. Refunds are issued by Turo to your original payment method. Prefer to keep your plans? You can request date or vehicle changes through Turo, subject to availability.

Extenuating circumstances

In qualifying situations, Turo's extenuating circumstances policy may waive cancellation fees. Eligibility and documentation are determined by Turo.

If we ever cancel

We very rarely cancel a confirmed trip. If we must, Turo will help you rebook a comparable vehicle or issue a full refund.
